ISLA is made from polyethylene terephthalate (PET)
a type of plastic
which is found in beverage and textile containers. At Parafina we take care of the recycling of PET
which comes from uncontrolled landfills
to prevent
that it gets into the sea. The ISLA is a lightweight and waterproof sunglasses. The lenses
which we use for the ISLA model (made of polycarbonate)
have a UV protection of 400 (cat. 3) and are polarized
i.e. they reduce glare
optical strain and provide better contrast.
