Waterproof 2-layer insulation pants: This refers to pants that consist of two layers to ensure water resistance, breathability and warmth. The outer layer is waterproof and protects against moisture with its membrane. The inner layer provides good thermal insulation with its lining.
Water column/breathability 20K/20K: The water column is a measure of the water resistance of the material. 20K means that the material is able to withstand a water pressure of 20,000 millimeters before it becomes permeable.
