The VANS UA ULTRARANGE VR3 is a new addition to the Vans family and another small step towards our goal of making even more sustainable footwear. It features an EcoCush™ midsole made from at least 50% bio-based foam derived from sugar cane, Vans' brand new EcoRubber™ blend of responsibly sourced natural rubber sourced from suppliers using best ethical practices to minimize harm and positively impact social ecosystems, and a one-piece nylon knit upper made from a blend of 50% organic cotton, 34% recycled PET, 14% recycled nylon, and 2% spandex.

- Leather upper: Sourced from a tannery that has been awarded Gold or Silver for environmental responsibility by the Leather Working Group, a multi-stakeholder auditing group.
- Midsole: EcoCush™ - This new midsole is made from at least 50% bio-based EVA foam, partially derived from plant sources according to ASTM D6866-16 testing standard.
- Outsole: EcoRubber™ - A completely new rubber compound made from responsibly sourced natural rubber instead of synthetic rubber derived from petroleum.
