The NATURAL CORK ADVENTURER from DOGHAMMER combines sustainability and functionality to the highest degree. Whether as a light approach shoe, for your daily adventures or a longer bagpacking trip, the Cork Adventurer is a reliable companion for your challenges! The outer material consists almost exclusively of the renewable raw material cork. In order to make the actually brittle cork durable and flexible, it is split into thin slices and combined with a carrier material. Temperature regulating, breathable and water-repellent. The heavily profiled outdoor sole, made in Germany, also contains cork. The cork content in the sole not only makes it lighter, but also has a decisive ecological advantage, because it reduces the amount of rubber required. The edge strip made of recycled rubber and cork, also made in Germany, ensures optimal protection for your feet from stones or roots. The removable insole consists of three layers - cork, EVA and coconut. The cork ensures a dry and pleasant foot climate, the EVA cushions every step you take and the coconut fiber underside prevents the insole from slipping. For the inner lining, we use mulesing-free wool (made from Merino). The temperature-regulating wool offers you incomparable comfort - warming on cold days and cooling on warm days. An abrasion-resistant microfiber is also incorporated in the heel area, which prevents annoying holes from forming. A piece of microfiber is also sewn onto the inside in the entry area, which protects the shoes from possible rubbing against each other.
