WHICH SKATEBOARD SIZE DO I NEED

Contrary to what one might initially associate with the term size, the key variable or unknown when choosing the right skateboard size is not the length, but the width of the deck. An average-sized adult will get a skateboard somewhere between 7.5" and 8.5" wide (1 inch). The optimal width depends on your height, shoe size, skating style and personal preference .

Street and park skaters generally prefer slightly narrower decks (under 8″), as such boards are easier to flip and control and therefore technically demanding tricks are more likely to work.
